First of all, I would like to apologize for not uploading anything for a long time, I just didn't have the file on my computer u.u


This is a very special drawing to me. It is the present I gave the most special friend I've ever had on his birthday. I was able to finish it and hand it to him on his special Day, July 1st. I know Onassis knows I love him with all my heart, and it'll always be that way :') No, he's not my boyfriend, if that were the case, why would I hide it? He's awesome :3

I wanted to give him something similar to what he wanted, a portrait of Soul Calibur Link, but better yet, in twilight princess style, because he loves the art style, although this was referenced from the SSE clip in brawl where link draws his sword and the sacred grove. I had to work really hard on this, with a HUGE time constraint, still I somehow managed to finish it, my only guess is I did it through the power of luuv lol Anyway, I had to rescue the drawing off a pretty bad photograph, so I popped it into photoshop, and I nearly broke the keyboard trying to figure out how to make it look like the original xD

I had to use a combination of levels, exposure, and a bit of dodge and burn to get it to look slightly like the drawing. It looks pretty much like it now, and I'm pretty satisfied with the result, though I know nothing's like the original. I added a little bit of a green hue just as a final touch, I just thought it brought the whole thing together. This is also the first time I use a copyright watermark, since I did not sign the drawing in the front.

I would of course never mind that this be posted elsewhere, so long as it is with my permission first, I don't see why I'd say no. Even if this is somehow "stolen," you can't steal my drawing hand so

Materials used:

A4 Thick paper from some school supply store
HB 0.5mm mechanical pencil
2B regular pencil
3B regular pencil
Tissue paper for blending

...seriously that's it xDDDDD, It took a looong time to get those darks with just those pencils, but I was relentless to use the others TT_TT
